Cline CLI is the terminal interface for Cline's coding agent, aimed at developers who prefer command-line workflows and automation. It can run interactively or execute direct prompts, supports non-interactive tasks for scripts and CI, and uses the same provider ecosystem as the IDE extension.
The CLI supports Cline account login, ChatGPT subscription authentication through OpenAI Codex OAuth, imports from tools such as Codex CLI and OpenCode, and direct API-key configuration for providers including Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Bedrock, Gemini, DeepSeek, Ollama, and LM Studio.
