Urgent Action Fund

Urgent Action Fund for Feminist Activism is a non-governmental feminist grantmaking nonprofit headquartered in Alameda, California. It partners with frontline feminist movements to deliver fast, flexible support to women, trans, and non-binary activists whose work cannot wait for conventional grant cycles.

The fund grants to individual feminist activists, organizations, and movements across Canada, Central Asia, Europe, Southwest Asia, the Balkans, the Caucasus, and the United States, and accepts applications in any language. Each application moves through program-officer review with two references and regional advisor input to a decision, with contracted funds wired quickly and a final report closing the grant. Sister funds applying the same rapid-response model cover Africa, Asia and the Pacific, and Latin America and the Caribbean.
