Sisters Health Foundation

The Sisters Health Foundation is a private philanthropic foundation headquartered in Parkersburg, West Virginia, that makes grants to nonprofit organizations and public institutions working on health across an 11-county service area spanning West Virginia and Ohio. Its grantmaking concentrates on three priority areas: healthy eating and active living, thriving neighborhoods, and mental health and addiction.

Through funding pathways that include its Responsive Grants Program, the foundation has awarded more than $24 million through 1,971 grants, supporting work that addresses the systemic conditions behind health outcomes, such as transportation access, health care access, and food and housing insecurity. Staff administer the grant cycles from the foundation's offices at the Rosemar Center in Parkersburg.
