Ubicloud Postgres is a managed PostgreSQL service from Ubicloud, a company founded by the team behind Citus Data, Heroku Postgres, and Azure PostgreSQL. The service runs standard PostgreSQL on local NVMe storage and is operated through a console, command-line interface, and API. It is available on Ubicloud's own bare-metal locations and on AWS, with a Google Cloud deployment in preview.

The service includes automatic backups with point-in-time restore, high-availability options with automatic failover, read replicas, and support for recent PostgreSQL versions with more than eighty extensions. Ubicloud publishes TPC-C benchmark comparisons against AWS RDS and Aurora and states SOC 2 Type II compliance. Migrations from other managed PostgreSQL providers are supported with assistance from the company's database engineers.
