Research questions rarely arrive at a desk. A partner mentions a company in a hallway, a founder sends a deck while you are between meetings, and the question is always the same: what is this company, and does it matter? aVenture Research is now available on iOS, a native iPhone app built around the three jobs that moment calls for: finding a company, understanding it quickly, and comparing it against the alternative.
The app wraps the same research experience you already get from aVenture in a mobile browser, kept one tap away on your home screen.

The aVenture Research home screen on iPhone: company search up front, with suggested companies to start from.
Search a company from anywhere
The app opens into company search. Type a name and move directly into that company's structured profile, without detouring through a browser tab or a search engine results page. It is built for the minutes between meetings: during a call, walking out of a pitch, or reading a funding announcement and wanting the record behind it.

Read a company brief in one view
A company profile on aVenture starts with the brief: what the company does, its operating status, funding stage, total capital raised, and year founded, with the source-backed company description up front. Funding rounds and investors live on the same profile, one tab over, so the financing picture is part of the same view rather than a separate research task.
The point of the brief is that a name dropped in a meeting becomes a researched company before you are back at your desk.

Compare two companies side by side
The comparison view puts two companies on the same scorecard: location, employees, total raised, last funding round, operating status, and ownership, alongside product, revenue, and customer classifications. When two companies sound alike in a pitch, this is the fastest way to see how they actually differ.
Get the iOS beta
This first iOS beta is deliberately focused: search, briefs, and two-company comparison are live now, and the native workflow grows from what researchers actually use.
Download the aVenture Research iOS beta with TestFlight. The same research experience is also newly native on macOS and iPadOS, announced separately.
