aVenture Research is now available for macOS on the Mac App Store. The app moves private-company research out of the browser tab pile and into a focused native window: find a company, read its brief, compare it against a peer, and hand the bigger questions to a research agent that shows its work.

Find a company, read the brief
Native company search returns structured result cards, not a list of links. Stage, total capital raised, headquarters, founding year, and team size are visible on each card before you open anything, so triaging a market takes minutes instead of an afternoon of tab opening.

Open a result and the company profile is the brief: a source-backed description, the funding record, products and services, acquisitions, news, and articles, organized under tabs instead of scattered across a dozen sites.
Two-company comparison is built in. The Compare view puts two companies on one scorecard across location, employees, total raised, last round, operating status, ownership, main product, revenue model, customer type, and geographic exposure, so a head-to-head read does not start with building a spreadsheet.
Ask the research agent
For questions bigger than a profile lookup, the app ships with the Research agent. Ask it to research a company's products, funding, and competitive landscape and it plans the run, searches, and reads its sources while you watch: the company site, Wikipedia, LinkedIn, and press coverage, each marked as it is read. The result is a structured draft with an inline source link on each claim, so every number can be checked where it was found. Related-company cards in the thread link straight back into profiles, so an answer stays connected to the rest of the graph. Runs are stoppable mid-read, and the finished draft stays editable.

The app signs in with your aVenture account, and new accounts can be created in the app. The same research runs on the web at aventure.vc, and aVenture Research is also available on iPhone and iPad through the iOS and iPadOS beta.
