Clearbit Reveal identified the companies behind anonymous website traffic by matching visitor IP addresses against Clearbit's firmographic database, returning company-level attributes that marketing and sales teams used for site personalization, chat routing, and account-based advertising audiences.

Clearbit was acquired by HubSpot in late 2023 and its technology was folded into HubSpot's Breeze Intelligence offering; the standalone Reveal product was retired as its visitor-identification capability became a HubSpot enrichment and visitor-ID add-on.
