Overview

Apollo for Developers is the headless surface of the Apollo platform, giving engineering, operations, and data teams programmatic access to the same B2B contact and company data that powers the Apollo application. It ships as a public REST API of more than seventy endpoints covering people and organization search, batch enrichment, sequence creation, contact enrollment, task management, and analytics reporting.

Authentication uses a single API key sent in the X-Api-Key header, and Apollo publishes a machine-readable OpenAPI 3 specification so teams can generate typed clients and feed structured endpoint documentation to their own tooling. The same layer is reachable through the Apollo command line interface for terminal, scripting, and CI/CD workflows, or through Apollo MCP for natural-language orchestration inside MCP clients.
